Yes, I've been here too! At the time, I used the word 'brutal' to describe my inner landscape as I pealed myself away from my marriage. It was in the aftermath of separation, with the aid of Hakomi, that I learnt how to hold my experience, to see myself more clearly, and to find out what my service to the world might look like. I discovered I still had a lot to give, and what I was giving was needed by the world.

Find out for yourself...

To live in this world

To live in this world
you must be able
to do three things:
to love what is mortal;
to hold it
against your bones knowing
your own life depends on it;
and, when the time comes to let it go,
to let it go.

~ Mary Oliver (excerpt from Blackwater Woods poem)

You've tried everything, right?

With everything shifting and potentially everything up for negotiation, what might be most essential at this time is the space to be able to tune in to your needs and navigate decisions with clarity of heart and mind.
If you're used to cognitive behavioural techniques, you may already know everything there is to know about your marital problem. You’ve explored cognitive thinking, behavioural technique, strategies for positivity. And yet clarity, or ease, or resilience still evades you...
Let's try something different together! With the Hakomi method, we turn on the Observer, and we start to notice there are aspects of the problem that may be living in your body, and in your silences. Our sessions will gently explore these spaces; using your present moment, felt experience to inform and discover your inner clarity and strength.

This crisis may be the catalyst for you to discover who you are, what your values are, how you want to live these values, and what your unique gift is in the world.
And, in the process, learning to be with Grief.
"If we commit ourselves to staying right where we are, then our experience becomes very vivid. Things become very clear when there is willingness to allow the experience to be felt"
~ Pema Chódron
