 NEW OFFERING FOR 2027

ACCOMPANIMENT

A ten week supportive container

Hakomi
mindful body-based
Psychotherapy

Weekly one-to-one sessions with ongoing personal support between sessions.

Meeting you where you're at.

For life's transitions, personal exploration, or bringing something meaningful into being, this is an invitation to go deeper, with continuity, intention and care.

An Invitation

What might become possible if you gave something important in your life ten weeks of sustained attention, with someone alongside you?

Intention → Continuity → Integration

Accompaniment offers a more continuous therapeutic relationship, bringing intention, focus and ongoing support to something meaningful in your life.

Together, we establish what you would like to explore, change or bring into being. Through weekly Hakomi sessions and personal support between sessions, we can engage with life as it unfolds — recognising familiar patterns, meeting obstacles, exploring new possibilities and integrating discoveries into everyday life.

There is room for direction and purpose, but also for curiosity, uncertainty and the unexpected. Our intentions give us somewhere to begin, while the therapeutic process allows us to discover what is needed along the way.

This is an invitation to go deeper. Ten weeks to give something important your attention, with the continuity and care to support meaningful change.

And perhaps, along the way, to discover a different way of meeting yourself — one that you can carry into the life you want to live.

Is this for you?

There are many reasons why you might feel drawn towards a period of sustained therapeutic support.

Perhaps you're navigating a significant life transition — grief, separation, perimenopause, or a changing sense of who you are and what matters to you.

Perhaps you're meeting familiar patterns in your relationships, or finding yourself caught between what you long for and what seems possible.

You may have something you want to bring into the world — a creative project, a new direction, an expression of yourself that has been waiting for space, confidence or support.

Or perhaps you're simply aware that something is stirring. An unease, a longing, a quiet sense that the way you've been living no longer quite fits.

You don't need to know exactly where you're going to begin.

Some people arrive with a clear intention. Others arrive with a question, a feeling, or something they haven't yet found the words for.

What matters is your willingness to become curious, to give something important your attention, and to make room for your own growth and discovery.

There is space for you here.

How this offering works

Accompaniment is a ten-week commitment to yourself, supported by a continuous therapeutic relationship that extends beyond our weekly sessions.

Together, we create a rhythm of enquiry, discovery and integration, allowing the work to deepen and unfold over time.

Weekly Hakomi Sessions

We meet for a one-hour, one-to-one Hakomi session each week, either in person or online.

These sessions offer dedicated space to slow down, explore your experience through mindful, body-centred enquiry, and discover what may be shaping your responses, choices and relationships.

Support Between Sessions

Life doesn't wait for our next appointment.

Throughout the ten weeks, you'll have access to personal messaging support via WhatsApp or Telegram, offering a way to stay connected with the therapeutic process as everyday life unfolds.

You might share a reflection, notice a familiar pattern emerging, celebrate a small shift, or reach out when something feels difficult.

These moments offer opportunities to practise meeting your experience with curiosity and compassion, while it's happening — rather than waiting until our next session to explore it.

I'll respond within agreed hours and boundaries, providing thoughtful support rather than immediate or around-the-clock availability.

Intention & Integration

We begin by exploring what matters to you and establishing an intention for our time together.

Along the way, we'll pause to reflect on what's changing, what you're discovering, and where your attention might be needed next.

These gentle reviews help us stay connected to your intention while allowing space for the unexpected.

The emphasis isn't on achieving a predetermined outcome, but on supporting meaningful movement in your life.

A Shared Commitment

This offering asks for your willingness to engage with the process over ten consecutive weeks, including the experiences and discoveries that arise between sessions.

My commitment is to offer a consistent, attentive therapeutic presence throughout that time.

An ongoing conversation between the work we do together and the life you're living.

The spirit of the offering

How we meet ourselves matters.

At the heart of Hakomi is a simple invitation: to slow down, become curious, and meet our experience with compassion rather than judgement.

So often, when something in our lives isn't working, our instinct is to try harder, push through, or find a way to fix it.

Hakomi offers a different approach.

Rather than trying to change ourselves, we become interested in how we are organised — the beliefs, patterns and protective responses that have shaped how we move through the world.

Through mindfulness and embodied awareness, we begin to notice what happens beneath our familiar stories. We make room for what has been held, what has been protected, and what may be longing for expression.

And in this compassionate attention, new possibilities can begin to emerge.

Learning to accompany yourself

Something important can happen when we are consistently met with curiosity, compassion and care.

Over time, we may begin to develop these same qualities in our relationship with ourselves.

We become more able to recognise what is happening within us, to make room for difficult feelings, to listen to what we need, and to respond with greater awareness and choice.

This is part of the deeper intention behind ACCOMPANIMENT.

The continuity of our relationship offers opportunities to cultivate a different way of being with your own experience — one that can gradually become your own.

The possibility isn't only to be accompanied for ten weeks, but to discover a new way of accompanying yourself.

Intention without pressure

Accompaniment brings this spirit of enquiry into a more sustained and purposeful relationship.

We may begin with a clear intention — something you want to explore, change or bring into being — but we don't need to know in advance how the journey will unfold.

Sometimes the very patterns that stand between us and what we long for become the most meaningful places of discovery.

There is no requirement to perform, achieve or become a better version of yourself.

Instead, we create the conditions for insight, integration and meaningful change to arise through your own experience.

We are not trying to force an outcome. We are making space for something new to become possible.

A little about me

I'm Ahly, a Hakomi practitioner based on the Kāpiti Coast, Aotearoa New Zealand.

My work is grounded in mindful, body-centred psychotherapy, with a particular interest in how our early experiences shape the ways we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world.

I bring curiosity, compassion and a deep respect for the intelligence of the ways we've learned to protect ourselves.

What I love about this work is the opportunity to meet people where they are, and to accompany them as they discover what becomes possible when there's room to slow down, listen and explore.

More about me

Explore the possibility

Perhaps something here has spoken to you.

Accompaniment begins in 2027, and I'm now welcoming expressions of interest.

If you're curious about what ten weeks of sustained therapeutic support might offer you, I'd love to hear a little about what brings you here.

There's no commitment at this stage, and you don't need to have a clear goal or intention. This is simply an opportunity to begin a conversation.

Share a little about yourself below, and I'll be in touch to arrange an initial conversation where we can explore what you're looking for, answer any questions, and see whether Accompaniment feels like a good fit.

I welcome you.
